I met a great friend whom I jungle trekked with in indonesia (see posts jungle trek 1-3), he encouraged me to visit him in him town in southern Germany and so I am here. Sleeping on his couch, eating his food and stealing his internet. He has treated me like family, taken me to all his social events and presented me as the traveler whose surfing his couch.
Karlsuhe is a nice city over run with college students. there is a famous tech school here so there are mostly nerdy guys walking around but it's relaxed and calm, a great place to enjoy non touristy german culture.
PS I didn't realize this but I love german food!
