Highlights of day One:-Walked clear across the city from Taksim to Sultanhamet (check a map out, you'd be impressed) with my pack
-Had Tea with a Turkish plate salesman who showed me his shop
-The Blue Mosque
-The Aquaduct
-Strolled through the grand bazaar and the egyptian spice market, fell in love with Turkish sweets!
-Sunset over the Marmara Sea!!
Exhausted after all night on the bus, I walked around most of the city wide eyed and excited. It is a magical place, turkish delight really does exist.
