Day 1 in Istanbul

Highlights of day One:
-Walked clear across the city from Taksim to Sultanhamet (check a map out, you'd be impressed) with my pack
-Had Tea with a Turkish plate salesman who showed me his shop
-The Blue Mosque
-The Aquaduct
-Strolled through the grand bazaar and the egyptian spice market, fell in love with Turkish sweets!
-Sunset over the Marmara Sea!!

Exhausted after all night on the bus, I walked around most of the city wide eyed and excited. It is a magical place, turkish delight really does exist.

my history lesson in Bulgaria

Did you know that the oldest gold in the world is in Bulgaria? Now you do.

The president of Bulgaria walked past me during the walking tour, he looks just like Barak. He's one of the suits I randomly caught in frame.

Istanbul Turkey

In the tourist area but loving it!!! I'm on the Euro side but I'm getting harassed like I'm in Asia! Istanbul is my place, it's amazing!
